Kenshi Yonezu New Album Release Event "LOST CORNER AR LIVE in HARAKADO"

2024
00:05:19
To commemorate the release of Kenshi Yonezu’s 6th album, LOST CORNER, we were responsible for the character design and AR production/design of “LOST CORNER AR LIVE in HARAKADO,” held at Tokyu Plaza Harajuku “Harakado.” LOST CORNER AR LIVE in HARAKADO is a roughly five-minute AR experience that lets visitors witness a fictional Kenshi Yonezu live performance, dancing freely through the streets of Harajuku to songs such as the opening theme of the anime Chainsaw Man, “KICK BACK,” and the theme song for the NHK TV drama series Tiger and Her Wings, “Sayounara Mata Itsuka!” By co-creating with SoVeC, part of the Sony Group, and leveraging the advanced capabilities of Sony’s VPS technology, which boasts outstanding precision and robustness, we were able to create an immersive presentation that blends reality and digital content.

We were responsible for developing “Lyric Sync Technology,” the software centered on the motion graphics direction program for the new model of the next-generation speaker Lyric Speaker, “Lyric Speaker Box,” which displays lyrics in sync with music. https://lyric-speaker.com/box/ The system automatically estimates the emotions in the lyrics, and the appropriate motion graphics and fonts appear on the transparent LCD monitor. This music experience, where sight and sound are harmonized, creates the sensation that an artist is weaving words just for you in the same space.

“Rakugaki AR” is an app that brings to life the dream everyone has imagined: “What if the things I draw came to life...?” Whether it’s a doodle drawn in a notebook or on a whiteboard, when you scan it with this app, it comes to life and starts walking around in a virtual space through your smartphone. Feed it, poke it, and play around with your doodles brought to life. The iOS version was released early on Saturday, August 1, 2020, and reached 460,000 downloads within five days of launch. Thanks to being introduced by well-known manga artists and illustrators, it trended on Twitter, reaching No. 6, and it also took No. 1 on the paid app overall rankings in eight countries and regions around the world (Japan, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia) for iPhone. It has also been featured by more than 50 web media outlets in Japan and abroad, as well as on multiple TV programs. It is also being exhibited for a limited time at the Kadokawa Musashino Museum. ROBOT VIEWING

2020
00:00:59
We developed “ROBOT VIEWING,” a system that allows people who find it difficult to visit events in person due to distance, time, disabilities, chronic conditions, or infection prevention measures to freely participate in events by remotely operating on-site robots from home online. With “ROBOT VIEWING,” multiple people, such as family members or acquaintances (currently up to five), can log in together, enjoy the event by operating a robot at the venue while video chatting, and communicate with people on-site through the robot’s speaker. The system also includes an online reservation and scheduling function, making it possible to flexibly schedule robot operation according to the event timetable and the number of units deployed. Going forward, we plan to add updates such as integration with a payment system and a function for projecting video on-site, and will develop this into a service that can be used not only for art exhibitions but also for product launch events and various indoor exhibition events. Deja vu | KAMRA

2015
00:02:52
We produced an interactive music video for “Deja vu,” a track from “Artificial Emotions,” the new album by KAMRA, an artist gaining attention in the electro music scene. This is a cutting-edge interactive video in which your own face changes in sync with the music. By visiting the special website and using your PC camera to capture yourself, the detected face is separated and transformed into a variety of forms in time with the song’s sequence. In the music video, your own face is given expressions and emotions by the music, turning the viewer themselves into an embodiment of the album’s concept, “Artificial Emotions.” Through this experience, viewers come to “deja vu” a slightly transformed version of themselves. https://kamra.invisi-dir.com/
