Profile: Media artist. Born in Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture. Grew up in a family-run dry cleaning business. After traveling around the world and working in business development, completed a master’s program at the Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences (IAMAS). Centering on the narratives of place, the experience of mobility, and media environments surrounding recording and communication, he pursues new media expression grounded in literary imagination, using mobile technologies such as iPhones and bicycles.
