Ayako Ehara is a Tokyo-based artist and VJ. She creates works inspired primarily by sparkling gemstones, flowers, and, more recently, anime she was captivated by as a child, as well as AI-based works.
Her inspiration comes mainly from childhood memories and the excitement she felt at the time. As a child, she loved drawing, collecting sparkly anime cards, stickers, toys, toy gemstones, and glass trinkets, and looking through flower encyclopedias. Whenever she was doing something she loved, she would become so absorbed that she always lost track of time.
Rather than limiting herself to a single software or mode of expression, she continues to explore a wide range of techniques in pursuit of sparkling visual expression. Through her work, her goal is to fill the world with sparkle and excitement.
