- Ryosuke Hayazaka Filmmaker / Film Director / Commercial Director He makes cinematic films that show people's inner lives and emotions through colour and light. Across commercials, vertical short dramas, music videos, brand films and feature films, he handles everything from planning to direction. Born in Sapporo. After graduating from Keio University (Faculty of Law, Department of Political Science), he studied under Kiyoshi Kurosawa in the Directing Program of the Graduate School of Film and New Media at Tokyo University of the Arts. Working as a filmmaker since 2012, he was selected as one of the "100 Video Creators" (Eizo Sakka 100). His commercial clients include Sony, Google, Honda, TOYOTA, Canon, ASICS, JINS, LIPTON, Asahi Super Dry, Gyunyu Sekken, Nikon, GOLDEN GOOSE and Mitsui Home. Music videos include WurtS feat. NISHINA "Santa Girl". Vertical short dramas include "Gacha Life" (30 episodes), Mitsui Home's "Kameyama Fufu wa, Chumon Shitai.", and Google Pixel x SoftBank "Reiwa Roman no Oshikatsu Debut Nikki". He made his feature debut with "4/Neko" (2016, distributed by Tokyo Theatres). "The Unluckiest Girl in the World (Gacha Life)" was an official selection at Raindance Film Festival 2026. "Koi wa Kaiju" was selected for BIFAN NAFF It Project 2025 and WORLD AI FILM FESTIVAL 2026 in KYOTO.
