A creative label led by Shinichi Yamamoto, a creative director behind numerous corporate motion logos and a media artist who presents his works both in Japan and internationally, with video director Hiroki Kawakami, creative technologist Seiichi Sega, and musician/video creator Tetsuji Ono as permanent members, and with additional artists joining fluidly across projects. The label explores a wide range of practice that extends beyond the framework of high-end visual expression, including the visualization of scientific data and philosophy, collaborations with traditional culture, installation art, public art production, STEAM education workshops, and fashion textiles. In recent years, the group has been conducting joint research with Miraikan — the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation — from the perspective of “spatial expression through moving images.” It has also presented live performances at MUTEK, the festival of electronic music and digital art, and unveiled an installation merging Japanese culture and media art through a decentralized museum project organized by the Agency for Cultural Affairs. In addition, in collaboration with au and MUTEK.JP, the group created an XR artwork set in the streets of Shibuya, freely orchestrating moving images in space like music software. Its works have been presented in Canada, Mexico, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, and beyond. Crossing over media art, club music, and subculture, the label has produced a wide range of original digital works.
Even in client work, rather than following conventional workflows in which planning is assembled in sequence by each specialist or technician within their own silo, the group has long been engaged in a creative process where each discipline intersects horizontally to generate work that can only emerge from the desktop. In an era where entirely new forms of visual expression are required — forms with no samples anywhere on the internet — the group pursues creative work informed by both a macro perspective that returns to the fundamentals of planning and a micro perspective that is attentive to every detail of the work, reading the currents of the times to shape its practice.
