Profile: Born in 1986 in Morioka, Iwate Prefecture. Short-form animation filmmaker. Completed the fifth cohort of the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Department of Animation, Tokyo University of the Arts. Received the Noburō Ōfuji Award for the graduation film The Stir of the Stagnant Water. Presents independent short animations under the self-managed label Gin_nan ni ame. Continues to create works exploring the themes of the unconscious, landscape, and embodiment. In 2017, co-founded UchuPeople LLC with felt-puppet animator Kazushige Tōma. Primarily responsible for drawing and editing. Works on TV commercials, TV anime, and more.
