Description:
This work depicts a fantastical landscape that evokes a scene from a science fiction film. A massive artificial structure suddenly appears amid majestic nature. Through its uncanny presence, the work expresses the relationship between artificial and natural elements, as well as the fragility of landscapes as they change over time.
In creating this piece, I aimed to complete a single scene in a short period of time, working under the constraint of finishing everything from concept to rendering in approximately two hours.
[About the techniques]
・Natural elements (rocks, etc.): Realistic textures were pursued using Megascans scan data
・Artificial elements (ring-shaped structure, etc.): Modeled in Blender
・Textures: Surface details created with Substance Painter
・Scene construction: Unreal Engine 5 was used to adjust placement, lighting, and atmospheric effects (sky, clouds, fog)
