The concept is FRAGILE, the same as the brand’s seasonal concept. Rather than a film simply meant to showcase the products (clothes), it is designed to properly convey the brand’s message. Since the words “ephemeral” and “snow” had been shared with us in advance, we focused on something that cannot be held or grasped. I think this has a dual meaning: something that is difficult to touch, as in the word “grasp,” and something uncertain and difficult to understand. With the fleeting presence of snow outside the window, human beings themselves may, when considered over a long span of time, be fragile beings to begin with. Because of the limited setting of the room and the window, we tried to create a story that could lead to such thoughts and imaginings. Classic 6　　※ Translation by Robert J Taro

The clashing and banging comes from instruments played by friends of the brand. The catch? They only had one go. Nakamura follows Yanagawa's troupe through the dark hallways of a concrete underground space as they come to a make-shift stage, which one member later clambers across. Footage is tinged an inky blue, reminiscent of the background setting for the look book. With instruments provided and a time limit of just three hours, the results are pretty fantastic and pretty damn cathartic. So, what are you waiting for? Turn your volume up and let it all out.
