A music video created based on a song inspired by photographer Munehide Ida’s photo book “EXPRESSWAY.” In this work, depth maps were generated from Munehide Ida’s photographs to give them three-dimensional movement, challenging the idea of “photographs coming to life once again.” While actively embracing the characteristics of the source material, including blur and noise, the piece intricately synchronizes them with piano sounds evoking a camera shutter and fast-paced developments. Through a unique approach, it reconstructs the tension and sense of speed inherent in the “moment” captured in photographs taken while driving on the Shuto Expressway at 100 km/h.
