I was in charge of the Creative Direction/VFX/CG/editing aspects of the music video for REIRIE’s “Aishiteyo.”

When I listened to “Dandelion,” I felt that it vividly portrays the pain, strength, and hope involved in living as a human being, and it brought these thoughts to mind. Everyone is born into this world with a reason and a value. Even if you feel ordinary, bored, or restricted, if you keep taking actions that will let your future self smile, then someday surely whatever is “holding you back” will disappear, and you’ll be able to live happily. So, love your own life more. And smile more. I believe that, as we continued filming with that concept in mind, this music video was born from the blending of Rira’s emotions, expressions, subtle movements of her fingertips, gaze, and singing, all seeming to well up from within her.
