2024
00:03:35
Official animated video from Pokémon Kids TV, Pokémon’s kids’ YouTube channel. Released in June 2024. Quaxly, the Pokémon who loves to stay clean and always has its hair just right. A girl who feels insecure about her naturally curly hair gets seven different hairstyles using Quaxly’s gel! She enjoys experimenting with fashion, but in the end realizes that her own hair texture is the best of all. This is a story MV. While fulfilling the girl’s longing for stylish self-expression, it also carries the message that “being yourself is wonderful, too.” Directed and written by Taketo Shinkai, who has extensive directing experience at ETV; animation by Imomushi, a creator active on works such as “Sina Pusiu”; and vocals by the chill musician kiki vivi lily. The arrangement of highly specialized staff also adds to the strength of the work.

Official video from Pokémon Kids TV, the kids’ YouTube channel for Pokémon. This freshly completed anime MV was released at the end of February 2024. Fuecoco? No—this is Sprigatito, the Pokémon with a whimsical personality. The story depicts the adorable everyday life of a girl and her Sprigatito, who just won’t quite warm up to her. Sprigatito, the cat-themed Pokémon, trusts its owner while still keeping its distance—just like a real cat. It’s sure to be a video that really resonates with cat lovers, too. Directed and written by Takehito Shinkai, who has extensive directing experience on ETV; animated by Imomushi, an artist active on shows like Shinapushu; and sung by chill musician kiki vivi lily. The carefully chosen team of specialists further enhances the work’s irresistibly cute appeal.
