An original video work by Kohei Nakama. Titled “DIFFUSION,” this piece envelops the human body in textile-like expressions of various textures, evoking in the viewer the sense of the origins of life and a stirring of nascent life.

Life is born, grows, and dances through beautiful steps. In the footage, where a graceful human model driven by CGI technology comes to life, the brilliance of newly born life through to its end seems to be symbolically portrayed. The meaning of the title, CYCLE: the circle, is deeply moving.
