KAWARA NO UMI

2023

00:03:15

Music video for the song KAWARA NO UMI. Words from someone can hurt you, and your own words can hurt someone else. In the same way, someone’s words can also give you hope. And in that way, you realize you’re not alone. Even in an age shrouded in fog, where the future can’t be seen, I want to find the light. Using letters as the key motif, the film depicts one’s feelings drifting across the sea and reaching an unknown someone.

“Being hurt by someone’s words, or hurting someone with your own words. Likewise, feeling hope from someone else’s words. And then realizing you’re not alone. Even in these fog-like times when you can’t see what lies ahead, I want to find a light.” “KAWARA NO UMI” MV Produced using the texture of analog paper and digital drawing
