A fiery Peanut-kun racing full speed toward his dreams is brought to life. The story is conveyed through a mix of 3D, 2D, and live-action footage, depicting a journey to Tokyo, inner conflict, running alongside friends, and ultimately taking flight. With homages to films and hobbies scattered throughout, the visuals are meticulously designed so that new discoveries emerge no matter how many times you watch.

Inspired by Japanese festivals and shrine fairs, I depicted angels dancing.

Based on the song’s energy and its distinctive rhythm, which can also sound like festival music, the piece was directed and produced around the theme of a “new festival” that brings together all kinds of cultures and elements. Combining a wide range of visuals—fragmentary situations and scenes that Hasegawa Hakushi himself associated with the song and selected, the powerful dance performance by Yoon Ji, a dancer active in Korea, the charming yet quirky characters and animation by Sawako Kageyama, Rintaro Unno’s keenly observed live-action footage of reality, and graphic design inspired by fireworks—it depicts an unknown festival and the excitement of its rising energy as elements that seem at first to be disconnected, blending reality and unreality, merge together.

With the weight of 25 years behind them, we portrayed the members as powerful figures racing forward to seize the future. From a world where objects symbolizing the Heisei era fly about, they run straight through to Reiwa and beyond into the future. The video is filled with countless details designed to delight not only fans but anyone who watches it, including motifs from past MVs and more. It also depicts the transition of eras within an abstract landscape blending 2D and 3D elements, while capturing Morning Musume.'23 sprinting full force through the center. With dynamic, otherworldly camera work, the piece expresses both the group’s history and the passage of time itself.

A striking visual work that observes musician Kaho Nakamura from a variety of angles—“thought, memory, preference, language, melody,” and more—then reconstructs this information as imagery based on 11 highly abstract observations collected in a free-form manner, in an attempt to probe and visualize her inner world. Objects related to Kaho Nakamura are embedded throughout the footage, along with illustrations personally drawn by Nakamura herself, allowing viewers to discover something new with each viewing. Each observation result, rendered into a slightly surreal visual form through a unique interpretation and original ideas, serves as a key to unraveling Kaho Nakamura’s personal side, sparking even greater curiosity.
