[ Backstory ] In a wind-swept town nestled between the sea and the mountains in July, a couple will experience a mysterious midsummer encounter and journey.... The themes are “dreams” and “the sea.” How much is real, and how much is a dream? Or how much is beach, and how much is sea? Relying on the textures of dreams and the memories of the ocean, sumahama? embodies the present moment of pop music itself, a layer of waves ebbing and flowing, and a mirage seen in random particles. [ Method ] Despite the luxurious locations, the entire piece was shot with a Sony camera released 30 years ago.
