In a world where nature had become scarce, a young girl found a “nameless seed.” She loved flowers and plants, and entrusted that tiny seed with her hopes for the future, tending it quietly and patiently. But no matter how much time passed, it never sprouted. Before long, the girl grew up, started a family, and went on with her life. Even so, the seed remained there, unchanged. —And then, one day. At last, the life that emerged was not a plant, but a “fairy.” Named “Toyon-chan,” this being seemed to answer her feelings, spreading green and life across the world once again. This is the story of how feelings nurtured out of sight eventually appear as great change.
