Broadcast within NHK’s music program “Minna no Uta,” this animation was created for Sayaka Yamamoto’s song “Boku wa Omocha” (“I’m a Toy”). Inspired by the song’s lyrics and worldview, it depicts the story of the toy protagonist “I” seeing off “you” as you set out toward the future, with both of them then beginning to move forward on their own paths.
