Since the song had a poppy, lively feel, I built the motion to match that upbeat image as well. While keeping the animation of the illustrations placed at the center of each cut as the main focus, I made sure the motion of the 2D design did not look too flat when arranged alongside the animation.

MV for “Aizome Summertime!!,” the main theme song of Hololive’s summer event, Holo Natsu Paradise. Android’s “Circle to Search” PV. Hoshimachi Suisei’s usual streaming room was recreated as a real set and filmed live-action. It was then composited with 3DCG.

“Mr.” is the first music video in a collaborative project between YOASOBI and four Naoki Prize-winning authors. The song is based on the novel My Own Owner by Rio Shimamoto, and the music video was planned and directed with the idea of what it might look like if the world of the novel were animated. The story sequences were created through hand-drawn animation, while the music video feel was achieved by combining several forms of motion graphics. Character designs by pomodorosa.
