The theme of “Stop, Okayama” is “vehicles stopping temporarily at crosswalks without traffic lights.” According to a survey released in 2021 by the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF), only 10.3% (※1) of cars in Okayama Prefecture stopped when pedestrians were about to cross at crosswalks, ranking the prefecture last in Japan. To help change attitudes in Okayama Prefecture, we produced an awareness video promoting compliance with traffic rules.
