NHK “Hand Wash Dance”

2020
Only Image
Description: We were responsible for planning the “Hand Wash Dance” broadcast on NHK, as well as producing the video and logo design. As the world was facing severe restrictions on daily life due to the COVID-19 pandemic and people were feeling down, we wanted to create a video content piece that would encourage handwashing as a coronavirus countermeasure while also helping viewers feel upbeat and positive. The idea we came up with was to create a “handwashing routine like a dance” that everyone would want to try. Based on finger tutting, a dance style that mainly uses the fingers, it became a “hand wash dance” that is a little challenging yet fun and allows you to wash your hands properly. Starting with NHK, it is scheduled to be broadcast on TV stations around the world in the future.

Explanation: Just like using emoji in chat, we created background images that let you express your feelings more richly while using video conferencing apps like Zoom. First, download your favorite Zoomoji image from the link below. We offer two series: an emoji series and a comic-style expression series (they’re free, so feel free to use them!). Then open Zoom settings, upload the Zoomoji image you want to use in “Virtual Background,” and switch between them whenever you like during your video meetings. Download here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/86uhlesygk9vilw/AAB94mvxBZQ88_VkuzKvFTZ5a?dl=0 *For required system requirements, please refer to Zoom’s official website. *These can also be used with services other than Zoom meetings, as long as they allow you to set a background image.
