As this would be a once-in-a-lifetime anniversary song marking her turning 16, we aimed for storyboards and direction that would convey the beauty of the passing years. We finished the story of Hatsune Miku, appearing as an elderly grandmother, adventuring through a sci-fi world, with a rough-touch look and a texture reminiscent of printmaking.
