Description: The missing parts and reconstruction of the gemstones depicted in the work are expressed through geometric design and animation. By mechanically creating the motion of the gemstones shattering and reassembling, as well as the spiraling animations, using a program, the futuristic, inorganic atmosphere of the work is evoked. Focusing on the trajectory of the Bernoulli spiral equation (r=ae^bθ), the animation of Phos’s fall is created. The design concept is based on equations that form patterns and spirals found in minerals and plants, such as Voronoi division. Like shards of gemstones splitting and forming the next scene, the animation is expressed as a parametric unfolding.
