InstallationMusic video META-morphose 2021 00:08:50 Description: An installation-style music video work using 20 displays of various ages, both old and new. All of the displays are synchronized, and the objects appearing in the video move back and forth across the screens as the piece unfolds. When an object crosses the boundary between old and new screens, it transforms into graphics suited to the visual language of the era in which that display was used, and the imagery transitions accordingly. After filming these monitors again, inserts were added to reinforce the unfolding narrative, and the work was packaged as a single “music video.” In response to recently emerging forms of expanded-reality visual expression such as VR and AR, as well as highly detailed, realistic CG that is nearly indistinguishable from reality, the artist focused on graphics, the social background of each era, and changes in trends to depict “video” as a medium that has been evolving into a higher-dimensional existence in just 20 years since the artist was born. This was expressed as a video work that takes on different forms as it unfolds across a variety of old and new displays.

3DCGMusic video Between Sudden Showers 2020 00:03:47 A music video released as a unit with composer Silentroom. Based on Gottfried Keller’s poem “Evening Shower,” it was adapted into a visual work. By switching scene by scene between graphics intentionally reduced to low resolution and given a mosaic-like treatment, and CG packed with intricate detail, the video expresses the song’s dual nature: weighty yet delicate and emotional. The aim was to create sharp musicality and imagery that stays true to the motif.
Animation Fate/Grand Order -Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia- Opening 2019, 2020 The second opening for the TV anime Fate/Grand Order - Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia. Set against the backdrop of the ancient Mesopotamian civilization of the BCE era, the animation features an organic visual direction that blends earth and sand with the gold and wealth of Gilgamesh, one of the story’s main characters. For the chorus section, the team explored new ways of combining key animation, motion graphics, and CG, aiming for visuals in which character animation, hand-drawn effects, and particle expressions influence one another. The production team consisted of the members who had previously worked on the opening of DARLING in the FRANXX, with Shun Yamaguchi, Kita, and Hanasaka joining the team to handle their respective parts.
