An art work presented on the 65-meter giant vision screen “Yunika Vision,” facing Shinjuku Kabukicho. While tense international news was being broadcast, the concept shuffled borders and geography. An experimental public art work in which abstract fields of color unfold across the vision screen and the urban space, saturated with PV and CM images.

The theme of this piece is “visual image associated with sound.” This is an abstract visual image inspired by an analog drawing method called Pouring. Just like matière, an art technique in which poured paint flows together, this motion graphic visualizes what happens when we pour sound into an object. Here, we expressed how an object might react through its movement and textures. Exhibited at “Shinjuku Creators Festa 2017”

This high-resolution video installation uses four sides: the front, both sides, and the top. Each is equipped with a high-definition LED panel. By manipulating the contactless controller, the graphic image changes instantly with hand gestures. This LED panel is so massive that it extends beyond the range of human vision. Although it is a 2D image, it greatly captivates the audience’s attention. This artwork successfully creates an atmosphere by expressing the ripeness and texture of the image. Various motion graphics such as “Abstract Wave,” “Soft Texture,” “Straight Line,” and “Velvety Fur-like Texture” appear one after another, showing the transformation of “the Atmosphere of Textures.” A high-resolution video installation using four high-definition LED panels on the front, both sides, and the top. Using a contactless controller, it is possible to switch images instantly with hand gestures. By using a massive LED panel that extends beyond the field of view, the work achieves a strong sense of immersion even with a 2D image, successfully expanding the image’s sizzle and texture into the surrounding space. Motion graphics such as “Abstract Wave,” “Soft Texture,” “Straight Line,” and “Flowing Fur-like Texture” appear one after another, transforming “the texture of space.”

An interactive installation work using four LED panels and weight sensors. By stepping onto the pressure sensors and shifting your weight, you move forward, backward, left, and right through a particle space of light, like a sea of bioluminescent plankton.

Inspired by SUNNOVA’s song of the same title, JUDGE was created for the special exhibition “Shinjuku City Visualize” as part of “Shinjuku Creators Festa,” with the theme of “visualizing Shinjuku.” Based on the song’s concept, “Do Not Label Us,” we built the visual imagery. The work captures the ever-changing vulgarity of Shinjuku and, in contrast, the towering buildings that rise above it. At the same time, it asks: Do the cityscape we are looking at now, and the people passing by, really exist? By collaging footage of Shinjuku that we shot ourselves with graphic elements that do not exist there, we created a world in which truth and falsehood are intertwined.

A work exhibited at Jeep Real Hybrid e-Creators. Using visual programming, it depicts river confluences and boundaries that evoke the laws of constructal flow, and, with the regularity of terrain formed over long periods of time as its theme, this audiovisual work links dynamic crustal activity to sound, while the expressions of the landscape created by differences in elevation transform linearly.

By collaging 3D CG-created figures and landscapes with live-action footage, the work expresses a fantastical and eerie world.

Based on the globally beloved Pokémon Card Game, a projection mapping display of light and imagery unfolds across the walls of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. The Pokémon depicted on the cards, along with iconic visuals, are brought to life in three-dimensional form through light and video, spreading a fantastical scene across the building at night.
