- Graduated from the Department of Moving Image at Osaka University of Arts. During his studies, a feature film he worked on was officially selected for the Japan Filmfest Hamburg. After graduation, he worked as a director at a video production company before becoming independent. He is currently represented by P.I.C.S. management. In addition to strong planning and structural skills in moving image production, he excels at creating striking visuals with a minimal one-image approach. His expression, which blurs the boundary between reality and fantasy to evoke an expanded sense of the real, is particularly compelling, and has earned high acclaim both in Japan and internationally.
