「Link」は、アルバム名とタップ音が使われる曲であることのみが共有され、事前情報(言語)を極力排除され制作されている。音自体やそれらの“カンジ”を感受し、より感覚的に接近する－主観的に捉えた映像となっている。
音(音楽)から受ける主観／感覚的なイメージ、そこから音を視覚的に表現していく際に生まれる「個人性」。それらがJapanese Footstepsの生み出した楽曲とどのように「共鳴（Link）」したのかを探る感覚的なコミュニケーションの軌跡であり、実験でもある。
The project was an experimental process in which ITOAOI created the visuals purely based on the "sound" of the track, imagining and interpreting it through sensory perception.
Due to the lack of linguistic constraints, the work evokes a sense of space resonating with the sounds themselves, the overflowing continuity of sound, and the feeling of sounds trapped within. These elements were translated into ITOAOI’s high-purity, subjective imagery and movements.
This piece represents the "individuality" that emerged when ITOAOI translated the subjective and sensory images evoked by the music into a visual expression, and how that "resonated" (linked) with the sounds created by Japanese Footsteps—an exploration of the sensory communication between the two.
