Live-action animation work. Filmed entirely on an iPhone, with every frame created using still images, stop-motion animation, and CGI.

We were invited by Superunion to create an abstract opening film themed around holidays for BBC Two. We were responsible for part of the footage for a major campaign launched last year by Superunion and BBC Creative, and we shaped the central curve of the number “2” using thousands of pieces of confetti exploding like fireworks.

It aims to create a synergy between the classic animation technique of shiritori and the excitement of sports where a baton is passed from one person to the next.
