We teamed up with leading mechanical keyboard brand Ducky to craft the launch animation for their mainstream flagship model, the "OK-M." Engineered as an accessible yet high-quality typing solution delivering supreme cost-performance, the product needed an intuitive, vibrant narrative. We introduced the brand's original mascot, "Ducko," who takes center stage to guide viewers through the keyboard's key features with buoyant energy. Blending character-driven storytelling with high-fidelity 3D product staging, the piece communicates tactile smoothness and outstanding value in a brisk, engaging rhythm.

A three-dimensional space built with real-time graphics. It depicts a day in the life of the people living in the Kojimachi district during the Edo period (1615-1868). In this virtual reality world, the same scene never repeats itself and the people move as if they had their own will. We combined the analog techniques of Japanese traditional painting with the digital techniques of real-time rendering and a video game AI engine to create delicate background and character compositions. The streets of Kojimachi in the Edo period, recreated in the style of Japanese painting, are actually built in real-time graphics within a 3D space. The people move as if they have a will of their own, and no scene ever repeats itself.

I got a very interesting long liner note from Powder himself, and the story was inspired by that. The main concept is based on a social-satirical image of the Tsukiji Market relocation issue, which was a problem in Japan, and it aims to convey as abstractly as possible the idea of being forced to make decisions in your own mind, and in a world where we tend to think in terms of just two choices, yes or no, updating our sense of things by asking whether there might be a new path rather than denying either side—that is New Tribe!
