An animated work created for the creator event “AnimatorDreamsGenshin,” themed around the appeal of the smartphone game Genshin Impact. It was packed with the excitement I felt when taking part in the annual Lantern Rite in Liyue, and I worked to convey the atmosphere of the piece together with its charming characters.

This song is the theme song for the serialized TV drama series Bakebake, airing in fall 2025. With the hope that it would remain a beloved work for many people long after the drama has ended, it has been reimagined as an animation. This time, the concept was developed by Ryosei Sato of Humbert Humbert, and based on that idea, production moved forward while drawing parallels between the rapidly changing era from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji era and the lives of those of us living in the present day. It depicts the perspective on work expressed in the lyrics, as well as the way we continue our daily lives, facing a wide range of emotions in the course of our everyday existence, unchanged in any era.
