In a world where nature had become scarce, a young girl found a “nameless seed.” She loved flowers and plants, and entrusted that tiny seed with her hopes for the future, tending it quietly and patiently. But no matter how much time passed, it never sprouted. Before long, the girl grew up, started a family, and went on with her life. Even so, the seed remained there, unchanged. —And then, one day. At last, the life that emerged was not a plant, but a “fairy.” Named “Toyon-chan,” this being seemed to answer her feelings, spreading green and life across the world once again. This is the story of how feelings nurtured out of sight eventually appear as great change. Toyohashi Printing Co.’s “unseen” project is an initiative to create a sustainable future together with the local community through environmentally friendly printing technologies and activities. “Helping you walk through life with a smile” A TV commercial animation for Eihokai, a care facility in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture. A son thinks of his mother who lives far away, while the mother tries to stay strong so as not to worry him. Because they are family, they worry; because they are family, they don’t want to cause worry. So that when the time comes for care, they can still live a life of walking forward with a smile. An animation created to gently accompany the feelings each family member holds in their hearts.

(Working title)

This song is the theme song for the serialized TV drama series Bakebake, airing in fall 2025. With the hope that it would remain a beloved work for many people long after the drama has ended, it has been reimagined as an animation. This time, the concept was developed by Ryosei Sato of Humbert Humbert, and based on that idea, production moved forward while drawing parallels between the rapidly changing era from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji era and the lives of those of us living in the present day. It depicts the perspective on work expressed in the lyrics, as well as the way we continue our daily lives, facing a wide range of emotions in the course of our everyday existence, unchanged in any era.
