I directed this piece with the aim of creating an exciting feel that would stir up something like the “spirit of a boy,” which people of all ages and genders may each have a little of inside them. I also crafted it so that by moving rhythmically back and forth between realistic sand sculptures and cel animation, the title “SAND LAND” would leave a strong impression.
