Music video for “cat step,” from daisuke tanabe’s latest EP “cat steps,” released in 2018. As the title suggests, it is an animated work in which a cat dances to the music. The entire piece is set in a world designed with rectangles, and the visuals begin to move in response to the track, as if a piano roll in a DAW had been brought to life.

Responsible for the TRIGGER corporate logo, avant motion graphics, and title logo animation for the feature film Promare. In the avant, we used motion graphics to abstractly express the spread of the Burnish as a phenomenon, serving as a prelude to the main story. In terms of the look as well, rather than simply using an old film look, we developed new shooting processes specifically for this project and applied special gradient treatment. The title logo animation was designed with the transition from the avant to the main film in mind, directly translating the energy of Promare into motion.
